What are your goals, dreams, and aspirations for the future?

From a very young age, I decided that I wanted to become a teacher. I am always eager to learn and I would love to share my lessons, whether it be life lessons or education with young children so they have a bright future. I would also love to make a difference and being a teacher would help me to attain that goal as I will be part of the body of citizens that helps to shape young minds and provide them with the necessary skills to get through life.

How would this scholarship help you attain your educational goals?

This scholarship is very important to me as it will eliminate any financial barriers that would hinder me from going to school everyday. This scholarship will not only boost me financially but also emotionally because I believe that having a support system and knowing that someone believes in me enough to invest in my future is the encouragement I need to move on the next step leading to my goals. I am very determined to succeed in the career path that I have chosen for myself. The financial aid will most definitely help me pursue my educational goals.

Briefly describe why you are deserving of this scholarship.

I strongly believe I am deserving of this scholarship because I am a very hard-working individual. This scholarship award will push me further towards a degree in Teaching. I want to one day have a career as a successful teacher. Ten years from now I see myself employed at one of our local institutions as a teacher. I want to contribute to Primary school children’s education. I just feel I would be blessed that I am given the opportunity to be awarded a scholarship to help fulfill my dream. I will prove that I do have what it takes to not only be a successful student but an outstanding teacher.
