What are your goals, dreams, and aspirations for the future?

My dreams and aspirations are to become a nurse. A nurse is a professional who cares and assists young children and adults. I love helping others, and this profession has sparked my interest. I would like to become a nurse in the future and with the right motivation, help, and studying hard, I believe I can achieve what I set my mind to.

How would this scholarship help you attain your educational goals?

The available scholarship would be a great help towards my journey of becoming a nurse. I need as much help as possible to become a successful professional.  I want to make my parents and myself proud. My application should be considered due to my school records that show my hard work and dedication.

Briefly describe why you are deserving of this scholarship.

Since the day I decided that I wanted to be a nurse, I have put all my efforts and dedication towards my studies. My school records can show that I have been doing my best. I also promise to continue to do even better. I want for my dreams to come true and nothing better than being the very best at my studies.

I am applying for this scholarship in order to be afforded the opportunity to further my education. It would put me one step closer to pursuing my life long dream of becoming a nurse. I come from a small rural community. My family has financial struggles. My father is a small scale farmer and my mother is unemployed. Sometimes, she may do odd jobs to make a living. I currently have a brother who attends high school. With my parents' small income, it is extremely difficult to support two children in high school. Receiving this scholarship would be a great help to my family as it would aid tremendously in relieving some of our financial burdens. My parents would not have to worry about purchasing school supplies such as textbooks which I would require.

I am a hardworker, I am determined and I have the ability to follow through with the education needed to achieve my goals. I have been a straight A student since Kindergarten. I have been my class monitor for most Primary school life. I am also an active member of my church and community. I am part of the youth fellowship at my church that oftentimes assists the less fortunate as sick and shut in members in the community. In addition to community service, I also have a passion for sporting activities like track and field and netball.

I view myself as a well rounded individual being. I am an active member of my community. I participate in various sporting activities and still manage to maintain a high average in my classes. I firmly believe that my passion for learning along with my excellent school record. In addition, my high expectations make me a very good candidate for the scholarship and because of this I think I am most deserving.
