Founded in 2022, the Granville and Viola South Scholarship Fund is dedicated to recognizing and supporting students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement alongside financial or economic need. Established in loving memory of Granville and Viola South, who passed away in August 2014 and July 2017 respectively, the fund embodies their passion for contributing to education, learning, and assisting children within their community. Granville and Viola were actively engaged in school functions and various community activities. The GVS scholarship Fund aspires to create opportunities for students facing challenges, fostering an environment where they can pursue their dreams and harness the talents that God has blessed them with.
We believe in the power of education to change lives and strengthen communities. Every person deserves the opportunity to learn and grow, regardless of their circumstances.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower students by providing them with the resources they need to succeed academically, personally, and professionally. Our goal is to utilize this fund to provide opportunities for students which would be otherwise challenging.
